However, the amount of micromanaging needed to survive even most easy missions is absurd.. Its just a frustrating game with a great aesthetic. Theres really not much that much skill to the game. Just grind till you get enough money then spend it on overpriced upgrades. Its the only thing that stretches the length of the game out. Even once yo get the most kitted out crew and plane, just a few strafes will render them all useless. Watch videos on it but dont get it yourself.. You have to tell the crew to do everything. Is your plane bring shot at? better sight the enemy's because the gunners are blind. Engine on fire? better tell the engineer to hit the extinguish button. Is a gunner you of ammo? better tell him to reload! He will set at the gun shooting an empty clip for all eternity until you command him to grab that ammo you put beside him.. A great game with a lot of fun despite being very cartoony. This game is fun, but incredibly frustrating, I've had to recruit a brand new crew 5 times and this time i have 6k to get crew gear and new engines for my bomber, then new turrets then armor and extinguishers. Whats great is I've done 36 missions and this is still happening. I"m tired of starting from the beginning, over and over. Maybe I'm not a strategist, but there are so many things that need to be timed. like opening bomb doors then tagging fighters and missing the target having to come around again letting them shoot more. I think to myself some bomber crew might be some fun but then I think "oh, wait i have to start from scratch" and think not.TL:DRIt is fun but the frustration outweighs it.Recommend if your a good multitasker.Don't if you get frustrated easy.. What could be a fun game is totally overshadowed by its shortcomings. Frustrating, poorly implemented, inane game mechanics, not even worth buying on sale.I don't want a game to be easy, yet I also don't want it to be stupid. You jump from tutorial missions (which actually demonstrate nothing) straight into certain death within about 5 minutes - the main baffling design decision is that you have to lock onto each and every enemy fighter, allowing a timer bar to fill, just so your gunner guys know what to shoot at. At the same time using the same dodgy mechanic to zoom and lock onto mission targets, nav points, bonus targets etc. Outnumbered from the get-go, you never really get going.The game demands your attention on a singular task (bombing for example) while at the same time expecting you to carry out 3 others at the same time. You can't leave any aspect to take care of itself which kind of negates any reason for the game to exist - if you abandon bombing a sub to take the time to target 20 fighters for example, by the time you've locked onto targets so your guys can carry on without you, the subs have gone. But if you concentrate on the subs you get shredded - plus if a guy goes down and you've used your one first aid kit it's curtains. It's basically a firefighting clickfest which has colourful checkboxes spread out across several screens.Avoid.. Goes from tutorial to overly complex in one massive jump, too steep learning curve, save your money for FSX:SE. Hilarious. Sent my engineer out on the wing to fix an engine...engine on the other side catches fire so I go into an emergency dive to put the fire out...my engineer slides off the wing and falls to the ground...KIA. The memorial wall of all your lost airmen is a great touch. I miss those guys.. Trying to currently 100% the game at the time of writing this review and I must say I'm really enjoying this game currently. The campaign is quite short but there is a newish DLC which adds another campaign that from what I've heard is actually quite hard to complete. Well made game that's enjoyable and gets very hectic at times. Only annoying thing I must point out about this game is that it's quite grindy if you want to get good upgrades for your plane, and decent level skills for crew members. 9\/10 -Mellamacorn Pre-Early Access Devlog 04 (Fish and Status): Hello :DHow are you?We will talk about fish and it’s status this time. Fish is one of the core element for Aquaculture Land. Most of your time will spend for raising fish and trying produce the best quality of it.In Aquaculture Land, there are several kinds of fishes you can raise. Not only fish, but you can also raise clam, shrimp, snail, crayfish, oyster, and others. For the current state, there are 12 kinds of fishes and several variants from each of it. You can raise all of that fishes. But, in the beginning of the game, there will be only several of fishes you can raise. You can unlock the rest of it as time goes by and some conditions are met. Fish has some kinds of status. Dissolved oxygen, pond density, noise tolerance, fish waste, and others. Each fish has different status condition. There is fish that need pond with good dissolve oxygen, while some can live in pond with less dissolved oxygen. All these status will affect the condition of the fish. So, make sure to always check the status of your fish, okay ;) I think we’ll end today’s devlog here. Raise some fish are challenging but so exciting at the same time. Aquaculture Land Release Announcement: Hello guys :)After roughly six months in development, Aquaculture Land will finally out on Steam! Based on our experience, we learned that feedback and suggestion from communities are important for us to make our game better. Pre-Early Access Devlog 03 [Pump and Generator]: Hi guys :DHow’s your day?Back to pre-early access devlog for Aquaculture Land. Today, we’ll talk about pump and generator, the basic pond equipment you need the most.In the last devlog we had already talk about how to build a pond and add some commodities into it. But if you only leave the commodities like that, they won’t last long. You will need some equipments for your pond to make them stay healthy and survive for a long time, or at least until they are big enough to be sold. The first equipment you need are pump. Pumps are needed to make sure your pond have enough oxygen. Don’t forget to check the pump status, because if you choose the wrong one, that’ll affect your commodity health. After you put pump on your pond, you will need a generator to turn it on. Generators are needed to provide the electricity for the pump. There are kinds of generator there, just like pump, don’t forget to check it’s status before you choose because it will affect the commodity too. A generator has some range of electricity area (each generator have different range). Make sure your pump is covered within the electricity area when you place your generator.It’s a little bit tricky to choose pump and generator for your pond. It’s not only to look for the benefit you get from those things (such as oxygen produced, range of electricity area, cost, etc.) but also you need to look for the impact from those things to your pond status and commodity status (such as noisy produced) because it can affect your commodity health. Aquaculture Land Pre-Early Access Devlog 05 (Feeding and Harvesting): Hello guys :DLong time no see. How’s your weekend?Back again with Aquaculture Land pre-early access devlog. Today we will talk about feeding and harvesting. Let’s check it out :DFeeding your fish is a must. Beside you need to check other status like dissolved oxygen, pond density, or fish waste, you need to feed your fish regularly to keep them stay alive. A food indicator (emoticon) will appear when your fish is hungry so you will know the right time to feed them. Remember, food will also produce food waste which will affect your pond status. You can feed your fish manually or you can set your worker to feed them automatically.You already keep the pond in best condition, you already feed your fish when they’re hungry, after all that nurturing thing, now it’s time to harvest your fish. Before that, you should take a note that you can only harvest level 2 fish. Actually you can wait a little longer to make them bigger but as soon as you had a level 2 fish, you can harvest your fish immediately. You can choose between harvest all your fish or just harvest the selected one.A tips after harvesting your fish, if your pond have a really kind of bad status, instead of add more equipments to make it better (for the next fish), you can drain your pond and fill it with a new water.
